Tokens
The SNAP ecosystem uses three key tokens, each with a specific role in trading, governance, and rewards.
SNAP
The core protocol token.
Can be locked to mint veSNAP.
Used for emissions, incentives, and governance alignment.
veSNAP
Created by locking SNAP for up to 2 years.
Grants governance power to vote on gauge emissions.
Gives holders a share of trading fees and bribes from supported pools.
Longer locks = more veSNAP voting weight.
oSNAP
An auxiliary token linked to incentive programs.
Can be:
Redeemed for SNAP at a discount.
Converted into veSNAP.
Redeemed into LP tokens when programs are active.
Revenue from oSNAP actions is split between incentives and the treasury.
