Epochs, Rewards, and Claims
SNAP runs on a weekly cycle. Each epoch determines where emissions go, how fees are distributed, and when rewards can be claimed.
Weekly cycle
Voting: veSNAP holders vote on pools.
Epoch close: Votes lock, emissions are distributed, and rewards are finalized.
Claims open: Rewards become available to harvest.
Rewards you earn
If you voted for a pool, you can claim:
Trading fees from that pool.
Bribes and incentives offered by protocols to attract votes.
Emission rewards tied to supported gauges.
How to claim
Go to the Claims page in the app.
Batch multiple claims into one transaction to save on gas.
Rewards remain available until claimed—there is no expiry.
Best practices
Check and update votes once per epoch.
Claim when gas fees are low to reduce costs.
Delegate voting power if you prefer a hands-off approach.
